About Kai Gallery

KAI Gallery launched in 2016 as the Contemporary focused version of FitzGerald Fine Arts, which was founded in 2007 on Greene Street in SoHo. KAI operated dynamic public spaces on Wooster Street and Grand Street in SoHo and also on Jobs Lane in Southampton, NY. FitzGerald Fine Arts was primarily focused on Asian art that examined traditional mediums of the past, but re-imaged those mediums, techniques and motifs with contemporary aesthetics. In order to widen its examination of Chinese art, FitzGerald Fine Arts launched KAI Gallery to showcase more experimental art from China, Asia and abroad.

Today KAI Gallery has a wider curatorial focus on the broader Contemporary market and prides itself on emphasizing innovative and academically rooted art from all over the world. KAI maintains By-Appointment gallery spaces in both Manhattan and Southampton, NY and continues to participate in accredited fairs both domestically and internationally.
