FitzGerald Fine Arts introduces itself to London in spectacular style with a preview organised by Dellert & Associates
On Thursday 5th November, the art PR maven Elizabeth Dellert of Dellert & Associates hosted an event at Alon Zakaim Fine Art at 5 – 7 Dover Street in Mayfair that welcomed FitzGerald Fine Arts to London. It was a great success and an all-round enjoyable affair.
In the upper gallery Alon Zakaim showed stunning 18th and 19th century incense burners and samurai suits priced from £28,000 to £200,000
Amongst those present were art collectors and a few of London’s party crashers – David Pun and the Julian Assange lookalike were two that made their presences known – but what shone out was the passion and dedication of the Beijing and New York based FitzGerald team. True specialists in Chinese ceramics and contemporary paintings, this respected gallery borrowed the space of Alon Zakim as part of Asian Art in London and put on a show that was perfectly curated.
With works priced generally in the range of £6,000 to £11,000, Jared FitzGerald’s porcelain panel paintings were the definite highlight but readers should take note and book themselves in to attend an artist lecture entitled Contemporary Ink and Porcelain on Monday 9th November at 6pm.
Should you wish to attend, email inquiries@fitzgeraldfinearts.com to ensure your name is added to the approved attendance list. London’s leading liggers, however, need not apply.
